The woman who answers the phone is extremely rude and does not care about customers at all. (Acted frustrated by our questions, didn't want to look up our order, wouldn't give us basic answers saying things like "well you ordered you should KNOW how much it cost"). She also hung UP on my husband the first time he called. When he called back, she was just like "oh... whoops".

We have ordered from village photography for YEARS (and would have continued to do so) spending hundreds of dollars in the process. The most recent order we received was damaged when we got it (no one's fault, pictures are fragile, it happens). It would have cost your company MAYBE $5 to reprint and ship the order. Not only did you want us to pay half of the original order value, but you also wanted us to pay $18 to ship it. Your photos have always been expensive (and we would have been willing to pay something reasonable to reprint), but this was just an obvious money grab compounded by an incredibly rude employee.

I hope the $5 expense you sacrificed to retain a long-term customer (although again, we would have been willing to make a reasonable payment to make that zero expense to you) was worth the hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars we would have spent across multiple children for multiple years. We won't be purchasing again.

The people at Village photography are awesome. I had some newborn photos taken in the studio and they were super patient with us. I had to bring all my kids and they were super accommodating. They got lots of different poses and let me do all the outfit changes I wanted. I’m really grateful with them for working with me. The photos turned out beautifully and I couldn’t be happier. They even let me piece together all the different sizes I wanted at a great price.

They refused to photograph my 7 year old at her school. She has extreme anxiety & they were unwilling to work with her, or even get a photo at all. I would have been happy with any photo at all but they refused and embarrassed her and made her cry instead. She was told that “your mom will hate these pictures. You're too shy, get out of line”. When I contacted them, I was told they don't usually take photos of older kids who are crying. 1) she was not crying; she was scared to smile/pose. 2) she is 7, not 15. 3) you don't get to tell my kid that I will hate her pictures. She's had anxiety her whole life so I was prepared for a photo where she wasn't necessarily smiling. She did want to take pictures but was instead embarrassed in front of her class. AWFUL to do that to a little girl. It made her feel even worse when her sister brought pictures home and she didn't.
I was told that it would be looked into and I would receive a call back and I never did. Horrible photography company!

Honestly, this place is one of the most frustrating ones to deal with, unfortunately the schools use them and i have no choice.. this is now the second time with this place and i cant express how frustrating it is to deal with them, i put all info needed on the front of the envelop (that's not good enough) my fail as i did not see we need to NOT detach the bottom and send the entire form back. instead of a friendly phone call about the order i was greeted over the phone by a very rude and "frustrated" lady which per the email i got i do believe it is Elaine Hallada.. she starts off by patronizing as to ho i didn't follow the directions and i need to send an email with what i want. i said its literally the ONLY 1 digital print listed for $35.. her comment back was "well no actually there is a few things that would total up to that amount". she NEVER lets you finish your sentence until you have to go over her and say let me speak and finish first. she always has an attitude or frustrated by anything you say or she has some smart comment to come back with. i sent the email as requested and literally in the body of the email it flat out says i am order pose #1.. while on the phone she is trying to say i still didn't tell her what pose i want.. until i had to tell her actually read the email first before responding. i didn't get my digital print from last time when i called i was told "YES you did" then received an email 5 mins after ending the conversation with it. just overall horrible customer service!! get a new job if you cant stand talking to people. makes the business have a bad taste and name i would never use you outside of the schools doing it.

These thieves charged us 100$ for school pictures and we didn’t even get any paper copies. Don’t wast your money here go somewhere else.

Both times they went to my kids school and my child a was captured crying and no smile - I realize not every child likes photos. But this company is the only one who can’t seem to get even a nice shot with a smile. 😏 they can do better

Let me say before I get started I have two year old twin boys. I have attempted to have their pictures taken by several other photographers that could not get them to smile or even partially participate in taking pictures. When I reached out to Village Photography about taking fall family photos they didn't even hesitate. During the photo shoot the photographers were the most patient with my boys. They played with Mickey Mouse, dinosaur toys and feather dusters for what seemed like forever just to make my children comfortable. We took breaks to eat a snack and let them just loosen up a little before taking more photos. They made us feel like family not just another photo shoot. They took a tremendous amount of pictures just to make sure that I got the PERFECT photo of my boys and family. I received a lot of pictures for a great price and they were fast at getting them back to me. I was definitely satisfied with my experience at Village Photography. I will be bringing my family back anytime I ever need pictures done and I will recommend them to anyone that ask. Thank you Village Photography for the great memories you all gave me!
