I just finished my first cycle and loved it so much! Erica and Juan are very fun, warm and encouraging which makes coming to class feel like a happy community. I think it makes a huge difference in our growth the way they welcome and chat with everyone. I really appreciate the structure and levels of classes. I always feel engaged or challenged because of the consistency of the planned lessons. I have a bad shoulder and I never felt unsafe because of a less experienced follow trying a higher lvl class. I love the focus on social dancing and feel that I have been able to improve my dance while also learning how to make moves easier and safer. I can't wait for more! 🕺

Classes are well-organized and are run very efficiently, with great attention to detail. Juan and Erica clearly have a passion for what they do and they do a great job teaching their students. There is plenty of practical content to learn, and they care about their community of students. The online courses are a great supplement to the in-person classes and are worth it as well. If you want to improve your social dancing, I would highly recommend coming to the Salsa Beat!

Juan and Erica are amazing instructors and great vibes people. I love and admire yhe structure specifically of the whole dance program from how someone signs up, to online classes, to the class curriculum itself. I want to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional dance teaching methods employed by Juan, Erica and their awesome team. I have had the privilege of trying out a few dance companies, and without a doubt, their approach stands out as the most effective and enjoyable. What really stands out to me as a follow is having coches dancing with us correcting and providing positive feedback during class. I’v improved in learning how to be lead by being more attentive to had motions and knowing what is being asked of me. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to continue learning and enhancing my salsa technique under their guidance.

Erica & Juan are wonderful instructors and dancers! I’m learning new moves every class and feel like it’s an engaging pace but also don’t find it overly challenging to the point where I’m stressed out.

I am also appreciative that classes are balanced between leads and follows, that there is a growth pathway, the general skill level of the class is high, and that they provide a lot of guidance and technique tips for follows.

The class is a safe space to give new moves and stylings a shot and everyone is really friendly 🙂. I’ve also been using some of the technique videos online which is helpful supplemental material.

I highly recommend taking classes with them!

Salsa beat cycle really accelerates your growth as a dancer and I feel like I definitely improved a lot during the level 3 cycle. I expanded my move vocabulary and my frame got a lot better (which has been something I have been focusing on). Erica always offers beautiful styling options for the moves and each choreography is explained in a very detailed manner so that you can perfect the moves and can practice it with increasing beat speed. I love that you also get individualised feedback from the teachers
