The show was a lot of fun. The food seems fancy, but is often very dry and cold. They seem to have trouble with getting enough staff to serve it. But there is a fabulous dessert, a plain cheesecake with a caramel drizzle . As far as atmosphere the show and Dinner take place in an event room that has little decorations.

We did date night on January 4th. The food was great, especially the cheesecake. The show keeps you guessing the whole time. The group participation was great and added extra fun.

This was the worst waste of time and money in my life. There was nothing fun about it. You are placed at a table of strangers, and told to chat. Well, the people at our table didn’t feel like chatting. Everyone just sat there quiet. You have this a long list of questions you’re supposed to ask each other, but the questions have nothing to do with any sort of a mystery. Nothing was mysterious about it. It was absolutely stupid and very boring. The only reason there are any positive reviews anywhere online is because if you write one while you were there and show it to them, they give you a “free” shot glass. I can’t tell you how many people were so excited just to get a free stupid shot glass, which they already over paid for! The dinner was atrocious. Absolutely disgusting. They call it an amazing four course meal. Well, there were three, and they were all disgusting. Even the iced tea was disgusting. There were two people there from Georgia and they said it was the worst tea they had ever tasted in their lives, and none of us even drank it. It wasn’t that it was unsweetened, it was just disgusting. I don’t know what they made it out of, but it was not tea. They want you to buy alcohol, that makes them even more money. We got the chicken. It was inedible. It just tasted like black pepper. Like you were licking the pepper shaker. It was so disgusting. To make matters worse, it came out an hour after all the other meals. So at first the people who got fish or vegetarian were just sitting there politely trying to wait, but we told them go ahead, eat it while it’s warm. It was literally one hour later when we got the chicken. There was a woman at her table who was diabetic, and our meals came 15 minutes before the end of the event. I won’t even call it a show, because it certainly was not one. She was literally collapsing into her lap - I sought help several times and asked could she please get her meal before anyone else; they were completely unsympathetic and did not help her. I didn’t even know this lady, but it was very sad and unacceptable. I had paid extra money for my friend to be part of the show. Basically being part of the show just meant that they came over and talked to her and said “you’re a person of interest.” She just stood there looking uncomfortable, and that was the end of it. She was not involved in any way. It was such a boring stupid “show” that really only had two “actors.” Please please please do not waste your money on this horrible, horrible scam! Oh, and by the way, the vegetarian meal was just a pile of side vegetables like green beans. It was nothing like an actual meal, like eggplant parmesan, vegetable lasagna or vegetarian chili. It was just steamed vegetables. Everything was so disgusting. Even the dessert was disgusting. And there was no fourth course. Everything was absolutely inedible. I left the room about a half an hour before it was over, since I still had not received my meal, and tried to get something at the hotel bar. The bartender was very sympathetic. He had no food, and sent me over to a little shop where I bought a granola bar. He came and found me there and he stuffed three bags of peanuts into my purse and he said, “Don’t tell anyone, I’m really sorry, I know it’s terrible.”

I attended this mystery dinner 10 August 2024. The hotel must have had some water damage because they had these machines everywhere trying to air out the place. It smelled musty too. My food was luke warm. I ask the waitress to warm my food. She could not do that. She claimed they had no microwave. The tea was nasty. We could not drink it. On the website it gave you choices of Brownies or cheesecake. There were no brownies. The show was horrible. I was so disappointed 😞. I paid for 3 guess wasted over 270.00. Thank God I did not pay parking. The good thing I could say was the coffee was good. There are no refunds so better think twice before inviting people and paying their bill. There was a lady in there drunk on the floor exposing her underwater. I do not wish this night on my enemies. They also said your will get a free shot glasses if you rate them five stars. I'm not lying for anyone. You have been warned.

Did my partner and I have a fun date night? Yes. Did the actors do a good job? Yes. However, for $60ish per person before drinks and tips, in this economy, I can’t recommend going.

Food: Our tables food came out at different times. It was awkward waiting 10 minutes for the fish to come out when everyone has eaten their chicken entree. The portions are small and the salmon was pretty tough. I wasn’t expecting Husk or The Pink House at this price point, but I wish we could have eaten elsewhere.

Environment: The show takes place in a conference room at a Holiday Inn. This is just as you’re imagining; Water damaged ceiling, circular tables they stack up in the corner when the shows over…. There are no costumes, lighting, sound effects. Just a few actors in normal clothes.

Show: The plot feels hap-hazard. The actors did a good job of improvising and trying to keep the energy high, but the script and format seemed to limit the story they could tell. Every once in a while, you get an access code to clues that you read on your phone that feel disconnected from the show.
