Some of my favorite memories are here. Newsies- Annie- No matter the play it is well cast and brilliant! I love dressing up and the anticipation when the lights dim and the music swells! Break a leg!

Good acoustics, a nice environment. The venue is not terribly large, but the setting and and the environment are great. The prices are overall reasonable. Some great regional shows come through every year. Would also advise those with young children (or those of any age) to check out the black box theatre for smaller children’s shows.

Absolutely gorgeous historic theater offering a variety of high calibre shows. This is the official State Theater of Georgia, and for good reason: during its storied history it's hosted the likes of two American Presidents, Oscar Wilde, "Buffalo Bill" Cody, William Jennings Bryan, W.C. Fields, Booker T. Washington... the list goes on and on. A must see!

Shrek the Musical
This show was excellent! Although the view from our box seats was obstructed by speakers a good bit, when the actors were in the middle of the stage, it was truly wonderful to watch! The singing and costumes were absolutely worth the aggravation of the obstruction!! We’re going again, but just with better box seats next time!

They still produce great theatre, which is rare today. The sets are worth the price of admission by themselves.
