Since the first time I stepped into the studio to audition I knew I belonged there I knew they would welcome me and treat me like one of them! I cannot say enough good things about Fuego y Hielo. I’ve been taking classes here for about a year now, and I absolutely love it. Although I’ve danced a little bit of salsa and bachata in the past, with the help of Candace and Fuquan, I’ve been able to improve my foundations, correct bad habits I had picked up, and become a better dancer.
They host a dance social called Mambo Mayhem every third Saturday of the month, which includes a class at the beginning, followed by social dancing for the rest of the night which is a great way to complement and practice what you're learning in class. I always look forward to both the classes (especially Afro mambo) and Mambo Mayhem, as well as seeing all the friends I’ve made here. If you’ve been thinking about taking classes, just do it! It’s very beginner friendly!

After a year of Fuego y Hielo, I realize why this is the best studio in Atlanta. The instructor is dedicated to teaching you all about the type of dance you choose. You'll learn history, dance fundamentals, and theory. I'm surprised how much better I've gotten by staying consistent. I've also gotten a chance to meet all sorts of different people who are now good friends. This is definitely the studio you want to be in if you want to really improve your dance skills!!

I've been taking classes here for roughly two and a half years, and I can't express how happy I am to have stumbled across this dance studio. I have experienced so many dance milestones here. It has truly become a second home with how much I am here and with how close and supportive the community is. You have the other students looking out for you and of course all the instructors. I appreciate Fuquan and Candace's teaching style. Not only are the able to explain the how but also the why behind each move. They are my dance role models and I hope to become more like them as time progresses. Like I don't think you understand... I am in constant awe!

I began dancing in September 2023 while living in New York and discovered Fuego y Hielo about 7 months ago after moving back to my hometown in Georgia. Although Fuquan's teaching style was one I had to get accustomed to, I've continued to grow since starting classes here.
