Very poor experience in the 2 years that my daughter danced here. They constantly change teachers and class times without informing parents of the schedule changes. The billing errors are a constant every month problem. They over charged and then they refuse to reimburse the money or even credit it towards classes the next month. When I asked to speak with a manager or the owner about the billing errors, I am constantly told by a the young male at the front desk that he will leave them a message and call me back to set up a call. He never does any of that. And honestly the dance classes are not worth the money. There are better dance studios in Columbus that are way more organized.

As an adult student, I greatly appreciate Miss Jen's enthusiasm, encouragement, and patience. I had to wait a long time to be able to afford the music lessons I dreamed of as a child, and I'm so grateful I found the instructor I did first try.

The star deduction isn't regarding the quality of the lessons, but the scheduling for the school overall. There are week long and multi-week-long breaks from lessons 3 times a year at least, on top of other holiday closures, and this can be very jarring to learning and practice. There was less than a month and a half between the return from Spring Break and the start of Summer Break this year to boot.

And admittedly, some of the actual furniture and school equipment could use some extra love or timely replacement.

All that said, I've experienced and heard nothing but good things about the music instructors, and I've met students of all ages and abilities. The front desk employees are always kind and patient, too. It's a wonderful staff for lessons!

This is an amazing music and dance school in Columbus, GA! They have done an exceptional job transitioning to both in-person and Zoom lessons during 2020. My daughter has enjoyed her guitar lessons this fall with Mr. Steve, and the staff has been so welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone looking for music lessons and dance classes in the Columbus area!

My daughter was a new student last year and really enjoyed it but this year they went through do many changes and not for the better. Instructors left and office staff was changed 3 times since August. New instructors and new students didn't follow the code of ethics and they had bullying during class without consequences. It has been a nightmare and wouldn't recommend it to any new dancers.

After 6 months in the school, my son was "removed" from his lessons.
First my 4-year old son started in piano music lessons. The first teacher said she can teach 2 year old kids. After the second lesson, she said my son was too tired for late classes, and suggested to try an earlier class. The second teacher said my son could not play the piano because his fingers couldn't reach the home keys, and suggested drums. 5 months into drum lessons, the teacher, decided to set new standards: "1- if the child MUST hold the drum sticks correctly 2- child must know how to read and play quarter notes AND if the child cannot do either one, s/he is not ready for drums" basically kicking my son out of the class. I was disheartened. Even though the teachers may say that they can teach younger children, they pick and choose who they want to teach, because they are unable to motivate, or make it interesting for a child who has never played the instrument before. The child is blank piece of paper, and it's up to the teacher to make it interesting and show the child how to hold the drum sticks and what quarter notes mean. The teachers do not make an effort to make music interesting, or motivate them to learn. In conclusion, if your child does not know music, this is not the place for them to learn.
I was not given any notice of the teachers decision, yet i had to write a withdraw slip which noted i needed to give them 30 days advance notification, and i was charged for the whole month, even though he was kicked out after the 2nd lesson of the month. I'm waiting for a refund.

I do not recommend this school for young children. This school may be good if the child already has musical experience. Otherwise, it's a waste of time and money.

My son has been taking lessons from Steve for about a year and a half. He has learned a great deal and looks forward to going every week. I don't have to make him practice; Steve does a great job working with the child to choose songs they WANT to learn how to play. Next week my son will play in his first Honor's Recital and he is so excited! I'm thrilled to see his progress over the past ~18 months and in knowing that he now has a skill he can use for the rest of his life.

This is the worst Business in Columbus. If you have a child interested in growing in the dance field look else where! They have no idea how to run a business. They let my daughter "tryout" for a dance team and picked 3 girls from the regular class. Instead of speaking to me about it,the instructor had the receptionist tell me they wanted older girls for their younger team. I asked on 3 different occasions to have the teacher or director contact me personally and neither of them did. On top of that they charged me a full month of tuition to take my daughter out of this "school".. NO CLASS, don't let the building fool you. They have no clue what they are doing! STAY AWAY!

Not worth your money. Before giving them your bank account info for automatic transfer request to watch their dance or music recitals with the teacher that your child will be taking classes with. Their dance recitals are hideous; kids learn nothing. Most of the teachers are poor. So investigate thoroughly. I would not recommend this place. The only reason why I didn't give one star is because some private music teachers are really good.
