Choe’s Hapkido is an AMAZING program that is led by a group of PHENOMENAL instructors! My son has been learning and growing under Choe’s for over 2 years since he was 7yrs old, and not only has this program helped him with his physical fitness, it has helped him tremendously with his mental focus, personal conduct and learning to respect others around him. The junior instructor program has also provided him with an invaluable way to learn about leadership and mentorship.

Every single instructor are great role models to my child, and they all coach the students with so much calmness, respect and encouragement. I love that they are truly focused on building an enjoyable environment that can help nurture my child holistically for a long time. I truly can’t say enough great things about this place!

When we signed our son up for hapkido lessons, we had no idea what a positive and transformative experience it would be for our entire family. Since it's a school, the lessons are more than just becoming proficient in the moves taught; hapkido is about discipline, respect, and your relationship to others and Instructor Jim has the great gift of being able to teach young and old alike with his keen wit, a sense of fairness, a lot of rigor and so much patience. We have all become unified in supporting and championing our middle schooler as he develops his skills and becomes more assertive, confident and steps into the best version of himself. Give a few lessons at Choe's Hapkido of Dahlonega a try- it was one of the best decisions we have ever made!

We interviewed a number of schools prior to choosing this one. After seeing Jim Haven’s passion for teaching, the choice was an easy one. The classes are much smaller and focused than some of the other schools and our son has progressed quickly. I am very pleased.

Havens at various events with Choe's HapKiDo, it seems he and this school reflect the values found throughout the Choe's HapKiDo family and create a culture and environment where students of all ages can grow, be challenged, treated with respect, and forge life long friendships.
