This has been going on for entirely too long and it’s becoming frustrating! $75 may not be a lot to some but it is for me! I placed an order around February 20 and it is now March 24 and I STILL have not received my order. Every time I call I’m always getting the run around. I keep being told to wait two weeks etc and give a call back. Shipping was paid for so why not use UPS or FEDex instead of going the cheaper route and using regular mail. I’m tired of hearing that managers have been contacted and it’s being worked on! If it was you going spending money and waiting for something then it will be different. Don’t tell me it’s the mail carriers fault! You guys need to take accountability also!

They take the worst school photos! I wish ALL our schools would use Lifetouch like our Middle school does. Every year I get crappy pictures of my elementary kids.

Not allowing our elementary retakes this year. Principal is stating this is the company decision. BPI is claiming the it is the principal's decision. Only kids that didnt have them taken originally. Not how they usually do it and other schools in the district are allowing. I am told this is a school decision that BPI would gladly retake them on retake day. Ok then, not buying them anymore at those prices. They also do not have permission to take the individual spring pictures either then. Tired of the dictation when the parents are the one writing the checks. Will be out of the system before high school as I hear they dictate where you have your childs senior pictures taken and how. Absolutely NOT. This is why I bought a Canon.

I accidentally ordered pictures I had already ordered. Tried reaching out and no one got back to me. I emailed and called. The picture’s arrived and they’re not even cut and all of them are weirdly bent, the cardboard they used to try and stabilize is so thin it is also misshapen. So not only do I have duplicate photos (which was my mistake originally) but I’ll also have to cut these pictures myself. The name and date I asked to be put on wasn’t on all of them either.

This photography company is disgusting and extremely pricey!! I'm sure that’s why MCSD chose this company to take portraits for high schoolers. Mind you their portraits are almost $1000!! That’s only half the problem! During the photo shoot, each and every student had to wear the same exact gown, cap, and cover. Not one time was any piece of the attire was sprayed, wiped, nothing!!! There is a reason this place has a low rating.

First, they do not allow parents to be in the photo session. They did not allow my husband to view the images before leaving the session. The pictures were not good at all. My daughter was not smiling and the angles were odd, just not the quality one expects from a professional photographer. I emailed BPI letting them know we were not happy with the pictures and that I wanted to schedule a retake. The response I received was "Hello, You Will Have to Visit Our Website In The Tallahassee Area To Rebook If All Dates Are Greyed Out Meaning We All Booked Up". I was a bit taken back by this response and wasn't even sure how to respond. I replied to the email "Wow – definitely not 5-stars on customer service…. I actually think I would like the money for the sitting fee refunded. We will find another photographer." and they replied, "Good Morning, Unfortunately The Sitting Fee Cannot Be Refunded, Thats Fee Was For Taking Photos Of The Student Period." I then decided to call and was put on hold and transferred to a supervisor (I am assuming). I explained the situation and also stated that if a parent had been allowed in the session, the photos would have turned out very differently. She stated that they don't allow the parents in so that the student can determine how they want the photos. I explained that the student is not paying for the photos and that at the very least a parent should be allow to view the images. The lady then explained they don't do that as a rule because it takes up too much time and they need to stay on schedule with their bookings. I explained that these things seem like basic customer services and minor efforts on their part to make sure the customer is happy with the service and product they are paying for. She one found an opening to retake the photos but explained they could only re-take the formal photo that goes to the school. Unfortunately, our school requires everyone to go through BPI. So, we're stuck with them and paying for poor quality senior photos. I am so sick of dealing with businesses that have absolutely no sense of customer service. I really wasn't being unreasonable. This experience probably explains their poor standing with the Better Business Bureau.

The WORST customer service you can imagine. I have two sons in elementary school and buy their overpriced photo packages at least twice per year as the photos are taken. I have needed to call them on two occasions. The first time I ordered class photos and they sent me the wrong class for one of my sons. When I called they refused to send the correct photo until I mailed back and they received the wrong photo that they sent! My guess is the cost to them for the single photo is probably around $1.00. Yesterday I received a promo code in an email from them enticing me to buy more photos. I decided to take advantage of it and clicked the link, chose the photos and entered the promo code. The code would not work despite repeated attempts over a day and a half. I ordered the photos anyway thinking I would call immediately after with the order number and they would, like any customer service oriented company, honor the discount (less than $10). Nope. They said the code had expired hours before and despite my explanations of having been trying to use the code for a day and a half without success and asking to speak with someone empowered to make an exception, they just stonewalled without the slightest concern. Their reviews on Google and elsewhere speak to their customer service, even when the mistakes are theirs and a resolution should be automatic with an apology from them. I asked for a call back from the owner, Chip Bowen, which I do not expect to receive. In the meantime, I'm going to reach out to the school to see about switching to a more reputable photographer.

UPDATE: I received an email after posting this review from the company stating that they had honored the promotion that they sent me by refunding the less than $10.00 at issue. I honestly did not care about such a small amount of money anyway, it was simply the principle to me. I repeatedly requested to speak to Chip Bowen, the owner, to share my multiple experiences with his company and was told that he absolutely would not contact me since they had issued the refund and that they considered the matter closed. That obviously speaks volumes about who you are supporting by utilizing this business.
