When TJ and I wanted to look for a photographer for our engagement photos we didn't know where to start looking. So I asked Facebook friends if they had any suggestions. When I heard about the Blumes we decided to book them and wow were we blown away. We loved how our photos turned out and how much they paid attention to all the details and what we had to say. The Blumes were truly one of the highlights of our wedding experience, and I do not say that lightly! Yes, they were a successful vendor for our wedding and worked well with us before, during, and after our day and their work was amazing (We had one of their apprentice photographers for our wedding and Eileen designing our album); More than that though, they were a true joy to work with and to get to know!
They captured me immediately after reading their story, philosophy, and information online. I fell in love with how they operated before I ever went to meet with them so I knew they were the company I wanted for my special day from the get-go. Even so, I was continually impressed by how much they value and prioritize connection and intentionality. The lengths that they went to in order to get to know us as a couple before ever contracting with us gave me a sense of trust that is tough to find these days!
This level of connection and heartfelt care carried through every aspect of working together, from the phone calls to get to know us in the beginning, meeting with us in-person to learn what was important to us, and every thoughtful gift and letter in between - I mean, who gets snail-mail handwritten letters anymore!!

Phillip and Eileen, it has truly been a joy! You two are both so very kind and I so respect how you choose to live out your values and character in how you operate your business. Never doubt that it shines brightly through what you do and it makes an impact!

We loved working with the Blumes for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos! Their punctuality, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate all of our specific requests, such as capturing our “Best Doods” in their tuxes on our wedding day, was unmatched.

I first met Philip and Eileen Blume in 2012 for a lovely family reunion session in Blue Ridge, GA. Later at our daughter's wedding at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC, and various grandchildren sessions around the Athens, GA area. His work is not only equal to that of a nationally known photographer, but the personal element he adds is truly priceless. Also, his wife, Eileen, is the perfect "finishing touch" with her mock-ups and valuable display input. I not only love them and their work but also bumping into them at Publix, where we hug and chat like old friends do.
Blume Photography is phenomenal quality but more importantly, Philip and Eileen are genuinely two of the sweetest people I have ever met. I would give them a hundred-star rating if I could !

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Phillip and Eileen Blume of Blume Photography! The minute my husband and I met them, we had an instant connection. With every conversation, it is clear how much they care about making your wedding and, indeed, the time leading up to the wedding, such a memorable and special experience. During our engagement photo shoot, Phillip took his time finding just the right location, backgrounds and ambiance to get the best reactions from us. What he captured that day is already treasured by everyone in our families. His attention to detail is fantastic, but his love for your love is palpable. And on the day of our wedding, he and his team worked tirelessly to capture all the right moments, elicit genuine responses from family members (no static poses here!) and somehow managed to be easy-going and un-intrusive to any of the festivities.

The wedding album that was created by Phillip and Eileen is absolutely stunning! Almost as if it belongs in a museum. Eileen did a wonderful job with the touch-ups and the beautiful layout design. And all the notes of encouragement along the way - wow!

It takes a special talent to capture the right moments in photography, but it takes a special person to make it part of the magical experience of the day. Blume Photography was truly one of the highlights of our entire wedding experience. After all is said and done, the photos are all the memories we have of the day. I am so thankful we entrusted that to Phillip, Eileen and their team. These are truly special people with wonderful talents who are willing to share them.
