Wonderfully passionate and athletic performance wrapped in an incredibly artistic package that captured all the senses and emotions of the audience. I especially enjoyed the Grease and Singing in the Rain segments. The Gone With the Wind dancers brought a spellbinding performance!

My girls have been dancing at Act 1 Academy for a year and a half now, and they both love it! Wonderful dance instructors, and great performances. They also have a wide variety of classes to choose from, not just dance. They have voice, piano, and acting lessons!

If you have a dancer, I encourage you to check out this studio. I have never seen girls in any setting this supportive of each other. The older girls always speak to my child. They call her by name. Every dance instruction we see (even those who don’t teach her) speak to her and call her by name. Our daughter feels part of a family at dance because she is. As a mom, that’s important. It is obvious they care for her as a talented dancer and as a person. They can take all my money because they are teaching my girl more than dance. They are teaching her friendship, confidence, and to love herself and others. The talent oozes out of all the professional dancers and upper level company dancers and they share what they know with the younger company dancers. Our daughter has taken dance for 8 of her 11 years yet has grown the most in the year she’s been with Act I. You won’t be disappointed. Come be a part of a studio that values talent and character.

Great place for your child to learn dance, voice, and acting. My child has been with Mrs. Chrissy for the last 12 years. I could not ask for a better person to teach her. My child has grown through the years, under the guidance of Mrs. Chrissy. I love how much love and care she puts into all the students. It's a great environment for your child to learn and grow. Friendships will be made, your child will learn discipline, techniques and over all have a amazing time with the staff.

Act I Academy has a very well rounded and talented staff in many different genres of dance, theatre, voice, and piano. They have always gone above and beyond to make my girls dance dreams and goals a reality. We are so lucky to call this family Christ centered studio home.

I have 2 children at different levels of dance at ACT I. I love everything about it. The teachers and staff are amazing and the productions are stunning. Most importantly, my girls are dressed and dance in an appropriate manner.
