I'm a sucker for great chocolate and WOW does River Sea Chocolates deliver! The chocolate is outstanding and the selection of flavors is wonderful. There are unique flavors you won't find anywhere else, such as raspberry vanilla tea (made with local tea) or a current limited flavor of peach IPA. My favorite was the double bean double buzz coffee flavor, yum. I enjoyed sampling and learning more about chocolate from Danielle - she was just a wealth of information! I will no doubt be back for a full chocolate tasting & tour. Oh, and the hot chocolate is highly recommended, especially with a shot of espresso.

Great overall experience. I've been to chocolate factories from Belgium to Belize, and the River-Sea establishment has reintroduced me to one of my favorite offerings from the Dominican Republic. The tasting and cocoas are highly recommended. And if you do happen to get the cocoa, make sure to try the smoked variety for the feeling of sitting near a bonfire with a circle of friends.

My friends and I did a chocolate tasting as part of our Galentine’s Day and we had a great experience. Dave was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about chocolate! We got to sample some yummy chocolate, and buy our favorites from the shop. (My favorite was a dark chocolate with olive oil and bay leaf!) The prices are very reasonable, especially considering it’s artisanal and ethically sourced. Already planning on coming back for another visit!

Even walking into the building, you can smell the chocolate being made. It's incredible and a great intro to the treat that is their chocolate. They don't seem to be a place to sit and eat, but that's fine. They have all sorts of chocolate bars, mini versions too, lots of truffle options. There were even wine options for pairings. The employees were very helpful, and we decided on some sampler gift sets, along with a 100% cacao to try. Everything has been so rich and truly a joy. My husband and I have loved all of the chocolate we bought from them and plan to go back soon. Definitely a new favorite place for chocolate.
