Location is just 1 block from Pike’s Market. Service from all staff that I had contact with was excellent. Room is in excellent condition, relatively recently remodeled and well maintained. The only major problem was the elevator; out of service for over 2 weeks, so you have to access your room via stairs! We were originally assigned a room on the top floor of this 6 story building, but was able to get it changed to the 2nd floor. Staff helped carry our luggage up the stairs.

This was such a great find! The location is amazing short walk to pikes market and the waterfront. The lobby does not have any bells or whistles but the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the downtown area so not all rooms have a great view but having a little studio apartment down town more than makes up for it!

Finished our week stay and it was interesting.

After the first night, we had issues with the water as our toilet started to leak to the commercial unit below, so we had to leave the unit to have a repair person fix the issue.
Later that night, our toilet wouldn’t flush anymore, so that meant more work. So we were able to move units. They took us from the city view we had to a unit that looked at a massive ashtray of a roof and a brick wall.

They did also charge us twice. On Expedia, we said we’d paid at the hotel. So it was surprising when they charged the card the day before we arrived.

Location was perfect for our stay. The rooms were very cozy and although they do not run on a traditional hotel house keeping schedule, that made they stay feel like home away from home more. If we needed any extras someone was always able to give us what we needed. Wouldn’t change a thing and would stay again.

The location is just 1 block from the Public Market Place. The studio that I booked was on 1st floor. It's facing the street. The studio comes with a fully loaded kitchen with utensils and S. S appliances. I just like the anesthetics of the room and the building overall. The room also had 2 chairs and a table to dine. Has coffee table book about lux unique homes. Has wall art and a TV.

The room was clean. Each floor has common washer dryer. I also realized that some rooms also comes with in unit laundry. Bathroom wass big. The closet also had drawer chest. They also had iron like every other hotel.

The staff is friendly.

On a side note: The lobby is pretty lean as it's not a conventional hotel type of a place. It's more like a building converted into a hotel. Hence no common toilet at the lobby.

Early check in extra $50. However I was able to check in for free an hr early.

The lady at the reception helped me book taxi.

I will definetly come back again.

Can’t beat this location. One tiny block from Pike’s Market, two blocks from the westlake train stop, 4 blocks from the monorail. Would love to stay here again. Even though elevators were down, I was pleased to see two air conditioning units in the room. Would love to stay here again.

Location is perfect to traverse pike place market and other neighboring establishments. The rooms however didn’t have a vent system so it can get pretty hot after a shower and the elevator broke down but we didn’t mind the escort to the other side of the building at night considering the building is from the 1930s or so: nicely renovated. Highly recommend.

Well Jim Bitzer, you are clearly not sharing the feedback you are receiving from multiple guests in any way that is making a difference. To be fair, the staff have been polite during our stay, but the “hotel” is still wanting in many significant ways.
The internet is slow to allow access despite it being an open and unsecure network potentially placing a less savvy person at risk of their data being snooped. It sure looks like a certificate is being suggested to be downloaded which seems dodgy. It is slow to connect making its use very frustrating.
The rooms are not cleaned properly. We found some of our bedding to be stained (we had to request new bedding) and a significant amount of dirt and debris on the floor, the bathroom smells faintly of urine and the floor in there looks to be sorely needing a good mopping. There is no mattress protector on one bed and previous guests’ hair was stuck to the mattress.
We requested and paid $75 for an early check in and upon arrival had to wait several minutes for our room to be “inspected”. Noting the stained bedding mentioned above, we have honest concerns the room was not ready and that it was not cleaned or bedding changed from the previous guests. We would have much preferred to be told it was unavailable and that out payment would not be needed.
There is no ironing board for the iron. As mentioned, one bed did not have a mattress protector and there is significant build up of debris and hair from previous guests stuck to the mattress. I don’t understand why the TV remotes are both covered in vacuum shrunk plastic, am I supposed to open them or is this to keep them clean? The ammenties advertised don’t seem to exists, business centre? I overheard a guest being told to find a coffee shop when requesting the ‘business centre’. The beds creak when you’re in them and sag tremendously.
The friendly staff and close proximation to Pikes Market are good points in what was otherwise a disappointing experience that would lead me to recommend guests stay anywhere else where you may have greater confidence that more attention to detail is being undertaken by the host.
